The Philippine Embassy in Pretoria has embarked on three strategic objectives to achieve its critical mission of pursuing a robust diplomacy for Philippine development.
First is the deepening and enlarging of its bilateral relations and cooperation with South Africa, as well as the eight other countries it covers, namely Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Second is enhancing the visibility of the Philippines and its people in all the countries within its jurisdication through trade and tourism promotion and cultural and public diplomacy. And third is strengthening ot its assistance and services to Filipino nationals who are working and residing in the Southern African region in order to harness them more effectively for the country's development.
Through this website, the Philippine Embassy aims to reach out to all its strategic partners, make its services closer to all its clientele in the Southern African region, and provide useful information and resources about the Philippines and its people. The website also hopes to be a platform for proactive interaction with all its stakeholders.
Consular forms, such as passport and visa application forms, may be downloaded, for convenience. Links to sites of different Philippine Missions abroad, Philippine Government agencies, business chambers and leading newspapers are also available making it an ideal portal.
